FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Pop’Africana Fashion Art Magazine
Pop’Africana Falsely Represented in Interactions with Showrooms, Designers, and Models
It has come to the attention of Pop’Africana that several showrooms, designers and models are being illegally solicited to pull clothes and booked
for Pop’Africana editorials. Please understand that what may seem to be formal requests made by assumed Pop’Africana employees are indeed
deceitful advances and not initiated and tolerated by Pop’Africana in any regard. Pop’Africana does not accept submissions. At present, two perpetrators in question include photographer, Rico Kinnard, and stylist, Marc Lebochi. These individuals do not work for Pop’Africana and, for that matter, have not been contracted to produce editorial content for the publication. As a result, Pop’Africana does not shoulder any responsibility in regards to the safekeeping of garments pulled by these said individuals. Henceforth, Pop’Africana requests that showrooms and agencies who have been approached by representatives of Pop’Africana contact our offices directly at inquire@popafricana.com. Pop’Africana takes these offenses very seriously and if necessary, will not hesitate to litigate.
